Mata bactérias Gram-positivas e Gram-negativas, além de alguns fungos1-4,15,16. Age no DNA microbiano e enfraquece a parede celular2-4.

Pouca absorção pela pele. A Prata age localmente, formando complexos com a pele lesionada4,17,18.

A Prata é eliminada nas fezes e a Sulfadiazina na urina4.
