Eficácia


A dose de 150 mg:10 mg foi escolhida por equilibrar benefícios e riscos. Aldijet fornece estradiol (hormônio natural), diferente dos sintéticos em pílulas, com efeitos colaterais diferentes.

Estudos mostram pouco efeito sobre pressão, coagulação e metabolismo. Taxa de continuidade após 12 meses é cerca de 60%. Pode ocorrer gravidez em 3-17 casos por 10.000 mulheres/ano.

Como age

Mecanismo de ação

Aldijet é aplicado no músculo uma vez por mês. Combina um gestágeno (algestona) e um estrógeno (estradiol). A algestona impede a ovulação e altera o muco cervical e endométrio. O estradiol regula o sangramento menstrual.

Como o corpo absorve

Após aplicação no músculo, é distribuído para tecido gorduroso e permanece na circulação. Concentração máxima de estradiol ocorre em 4-6 dias. Meia-vida do estradiol é 5,57 dias. Algestona tem meia-vida de 24 dias, sendo eliminada principalmente nas fezes.
